Alumni and Friends NewsGraham Johnsen Named the 24th Head Football Coach at MU With his wife Suzanne and daughter Aubrie at his side, Graham Johnsen was introduced as MU's next head football coach on April 5, 2012. The campus community gathered with current members of the football team and local media in the North Hall Library Traditional Reading Room in anticipation of Interim President Dr. Allan Golden's announcement. What's Happening in the Department of Communication?Exciting things are happening in the Department of Communication! A new building, curriculum changes,  new events, exciting internships, retirements and birthdays. Many of you may remember retired professor Vern Lapps. Dr. Lapps recently celebrated his 80th birthday with a group of friends and colleague's at Lamb's Creek Inn in Mansfield. Dr. Lapps continues to support the department in his retirement.
